About Potbel

In the heart of Delhi, Anjali and Asha founded Designer Karigar, a designer stitching brand. For five years, they created beautiful clothes but couldn’t ignore the cloth waste piling up.

One day, Anjali had an idea: “What if we use these leftovers to make something new?” Asha agreed, suggesting small items like pouches and potlis. This idea led to Potbel, a brand dedicated to sustainability.

They crafted potlis, ethnic belts, and accessories from leftover fabric, initially gifting them to customers. The positive response spurred Potbel's growth, turning waste into valuable, beautiful, sustainable products, showcasing the power of creativity and commitment to a greener future.
